Today, A2U announced that it is acquired by Accscient LLC, an entity of FutureTech Holding (FTH) and Alaris USA Inc. This change is effective immediately.
This will enable A2U to continue trekking towards the company’s five-times growth goal and expand its suite of services. It means more capital and resources for A2U. Moving forward, A2U will be able to leverage resources across all of the IT companies that make up the FTH corporate group and provide its customers with even more solutions and staffing.
“As the founder of A2U, I look forward to taking A2U to the next level, backed by the support of FTH, our top-tier technical staff, leading partners and valued customers,” said Dan Dillman, CEO, A2U.
A2U’s founder and CEO, Dan Dillman will continue managing the A2U business unit and A2U’s Cliff Miller will continue serving in the CTO role.
Executives at both companies agree that A2U has a reputation for employing top-tier technical professionals and A2U has invested in staffing training and development – a large reason why the company has seen explosive growth in recent years.
“We’re thrilled to add this kind of expertise to our company, including the addition of A2U’s high-end engineers. End users can expect the same, great A2U smarts and service, along with added resources in data protection, migrations, converged and hyper-converged infrastructure, storage, virtualization, digital transformation, robotics automation and more,” said Sravan Vellanki, CEO and President, FTH.
This year, marks A2U’s 15th anniversary. The company has grown from a small, cloud hosting startup to one of the nation’s top IT solutions providers – being named to CRN’s Next Gen 250 List and selected as CIOReview’s top 20 Citrix solutions providers nationally. The company has also earned recognition as Pittsburgh’s Fastest Growing Technology company in the region the past two years. In addition, today’s company announcement comes on the heels of A2U’s CEO, Dan Dillman being chosen as a winner of Pittsburgh’s CEO of the Year Award.
A2U executives say its high growth in recent years can be attributed to the referrals of its customer base and technical staff.
“We’re excited about joining the FTH family. This will only help us serve our customers better and achieve new, great heights,” said Cliff Miller, CTO, A2U.
